Premiere Final Draft

Wow, I can’t believe that it is time to submit the final story assignment. For this assignment, I made a promotional piece for the company that I hope to create one day. I believe my growth throughout this unit has been the biggest in comparison to the others. Not only did I set goes for myself and accomplish them, but I also exceeded my own expectations. I had a very rough draft last week and I made sure to read and evaluate each comment that I received in order to expand my knowledge and also obtain the best work possible. The first suggestion that I got was that some of my videos are filmed vertically instead of horizontal. I then took the day to go and refilm the shots that I could, and sadly due to weather I couldn’t recreate one of my favorite shots. I used many techniques in this assignment I used video and audio as well as music for the freesounds.org that we have previously worked with, as well as adding text to lay over the block of a still picture that I also incorporated. I worked on many drafts before finalizing the one that I wanted to submit. This was due to working to perfect the timing of ever outlet that I have incorporated. I used the razor tool frequently to break up the audio. I originally recorded it in a single form however cute it up to maximize the time that I was able to talk. I used music as an outlet to work towards a clean and elongated presentation. Another reason I used 2 forms of audio was to switch in between the two. Not only would just having background music be boring and not fully convey the story, neither would me rambling. The music not only breaks up me talking but also adds the overall atmosphere and helps illustrate what the vibe is like. I also used the text tool and a still cut image to break up the two tones of my work. I have worked hard to encompass multiple units throughout this piece, for example, going back to the logo project for the last seconds of the film.
